Tears of Autumn
Published by Sol Guzman · October 27, 2026
Seagulls cawing and autumn’s falling,
the trumpets chime in calmly nights.
Tears of sorrow for heaven’s rhyme;
skies are covered in clouds of swans.
Eternal life is yet to find,
the bargained life of beggar’s scars.
Sorrows love can break a heart;
of mountains high, behold the triumph.
For nothing’s left but a tender soul,
the passing time on fools and dimes.
Neither old nor young, in love, perhaps.
The crying spring is far and gone;
in autumn’s tears, spring has sung.
